Attending the club:

Currently training is on Sunday mornings from 10.00 am until 11.30 am, but additional sessions are sometimes offered for additional work outs.
Anybody wishing to join the club or initially just see what it involves - all equipment is available at no cost - should initially contact the club by E Mail: bedfordwheelchairracing@gmail.com to let the coaches know that additional people will be attending so that equipment preparations can be commenced.
For the first few sessions there are no fees, but once a participant becomes committed to wheelchair racing there is an annual fee of £120 for juniors.

No specialist equipment is necessary other than close fitting clothes. All other equipment is provided for beginners and the more advance

Accessibility Information:

The club operates at the Bedford International Athletics Stadium which provides easy access to all parts of the facility. There are ramps into the building and many doors are automatic when approached. The wheelchair racers currently training at the Stadium have no difficulty moving around - most of them are wheelchair bound. As a public facility, the Stadium meets all the requirements for disabled people.
from the stadium there is easy access onto the track and also a cycle path, which is part of a national network of paths, that offers unlimited endurance training.
