Overview

Wheelchair dance is great exercise for both the body and mind and dances are adapted to suit your ability, it's not about what you can't do, it's about what you can do. Wheelchair Dancing is great way to improve your day to day wheelchair skills. Classes are open to both wheelchair users and standing dancers to dance with wheelchair users as long as you are over 12 years old. You don't need any dance experience to join in, our wheelchair dance classes are fun and enjoyable.

Attending the club:

Anyone is welcome to come along and try. Classes are FREE. Just pop along. If you have the ability then we hold additional sessions/practice for competitive dancers.

When we meet:

Wednesday evenings 7pm-8.30pm

Equipment:

Any wheelchair will do to start off to try dancing in. If you need personal care or unable to propel yourself in a manual or power wheelchair then you must bring a carer with you.

Accessibility Information:

Car park at the rear on Boundary Lane. Full step free access. Accessible Toilet No Changing places or hoist. If you need personal care or unable to propel yourself in a manual or power wheelchair then you must bring a carer with you.
