Strength and Conditioning - Access all Areas, aims to provide disabled people with the opportunity to work out with trained staff in our fitness facilities at the University.

We will have a dedicated workout area, with adaptive kit, which will allow people to be active to the level that they feel comfortable with. Staff will develop tailored session to meet your own personal goals and help to build confidence in this area.

The sessions will be for individuals and supported by staff. These will be bookable in advance, but you will need to have completed a consultation prior to attending your first session.

The aim is to help you achieve your activity goals and help facilitate access to other opportunities, where appropriate.

Accessibility Information:

These sessions will take place in our David Ross Sports Village facility. We will have an accessible, dedicated area in our High Performance Zone (HPZ).

We have plenty of accessible parking spaces outside of the main entrance as well as an easy drop off area.

There are automatic doors in to and throughout the facility, to make access easier.

There is a low level reception desk and participants will need to report in there. Receptionists will then provide directions and access through automatic gates.

Accessible toilets and changing facilities are right next to the HPZ, along with locker facilities, should they be needed. We do also have a Changing Places facility, which you will need RADAR key for. Staff at the main reception can also help with access, on request.
