The North East Visually Impaired Tennis Club gives blind and visually impaired people in the North East of England, the opportunity to play tennis in a friendly, social and supportive environment. We welcome and encourage everyone to try this game, bring your family, bring your friends or just bring yourself, before long, you'll be hooked!

Attending the club:

The first session for all new comers is free. Members pay £20 for the year and £3 each session. Non members pay £6 per session. The best way to join our session is to email our Chairman, Graeme Manwell at play@nevitc.org who will ensure you are met and made to feel welcome when you first arrive.

When we meet:

We generally meet on Sunday afternoon between 2 and 4pm.

Equipment:

We suggest that participants wear comfortable sports clothing and non-marking sports shoes to prevent damage to the indoor tennis court surface.

Accessibility Information:

The venue is accessible for blind and visually impaired people. If travelling by car, The Northumberland Club has a large free car park. We offer a meet and greet service for all new players.
