Overview

Holwell Rifle Club provides a safe environment for members to learn, train and compete within target shooting sport. We encourage members to participate in individual or team competitions appropriate for their skill level. Current membership ranges from club shooters through to international competitors.
We welcome all members of the community regardless of ethnicity, nationality, sex, age, sexual orientation or disability except where the laws governing the possession or use of firearms would come into conflict.

Attending the club:

All new members, regardless of whether they have a disability, should contact the club to make an appointment for an initial visit. At this initial visit membership, fees and club facilities will be explained. For those with a disability the initial visit can be used to discuss how their disability may affect their ability to participate and if any arrangements need to be made. There is an introductory course for new members to give them the basic skills and to ensure they are able to participate safely.

Equipment:

The club can provide all necessary equipment which is required by beginners.

Accessibility Information:

The club is accessible to those with mobility impairments, including those in wheelchairs, with step-free access throughout, disabled toilets and disabled parking.
We have equipment to enable disabled people to participate in the sport, eg. audio aiming equipment for vision-impaired participants, support rests for those who cannot support a rifle independently.
