We provide excellent training for all ages from 8 years old for wheelchair racing at one of the biggest clubs in the world. The Weir Archer Academy was founded in 2013 by David Weir CBE and Jenny Archer MBE and boasts a number of current Team GB squad members as well as providing an environment for physical training , wellbeing and social interaction . We travel during the year to a number of organised and well ran athletics events .

Attending the club:

We are a registered athletics club with various memberships that include training and coaching costs . Please contact us on the website to find out more . We train mainly Monday and Wednesday evenings from 1800 and some do Richmond Park training on Saturday mornings. In school holidays more training is organised

We have some club starter chairs and equipment to help people when they first start. After a few months if people want to get more involved we help with access to grants for the provision of specialist and custom made racing wheelchairs

Accessibility Information:

We have an accessible club training location with same level facilities including disabled changing and toilets.All club members are wheelchair users
