Overview

The Accessible Festival is now in its 5th year and will be hosting it's next event on 12/07/2020 at 1pm. The festival is funded by sponsorship raised by local businesses, many of whom work in the field of disability. The event up to now has been a free event for adults and children living with all types of disability to come along with friends and family to experience a festival type environment where the activities are fully inclusive. The event includes a live music stage, DJ stage, Rebound Therapy, sensory play area, silent disco and UV Rave, Petting area, Accessible climbing walls, adaptive/inclusive gaming, disability football, wheels 4 All and much more.

Attending the club:

For organised activities the coaches are qualified i.e. rebound therapy is ran by a qualified therapist, football is ran by a qualified OT who offers all types of inclusive sports, the accessible climbing walls are ran by the trained staff that supply the equipment. Most of the activity providers and stall holders work with adults or children with disability.

Accessibility Information:

The venue is accessed from Market street through a gate and there is hard standing parking for wheelchair accessible vehicles. There is plenty of grass parking on site for more able bodied visitors and exhibitors. On street parking is also available. We have a disabled toilet provided by Mobiloo, as well as alternative Male and Female toilets and changing areas.

Wheelchair access to the stalls and activities is via grass or hard standing running track.
