Girls Win uses sport to help young women with a disability (ages 16 – 25) set short, medium and long-term goals. It empowers young women to think more positively about their future, how goal setting can develop their prospects for the future and engages young women in activities that keep the body and mind healthy to adopt a growth mind-set.

Our FREE weekly sessions combine a range of sports and physical activity with goal setting workshops, peer support group discussion and a physical challenge that will increase the confidence, independence and expand their friendship networks to reduce social isolation of young women with a disability.

Tang Soo Do is a traditional martial art that develops confidence, strength, flexibility, self defence. It helps with health and wellness as well as being a community atmosphere that encourages students to engage and push themselves to achieve their inner potential both in and out of the gym. We also offer ladies fitness kickboxing, tiny tigers (4-7 year olds), private sessions, self defence seminars, anti bullying courses, private sessions. In the new year we plan to do fitness/circuits sessions. Ki Gong and special classes for autism and other disabilities

Cheshire Phoenix Wheelchair Basketball Club is a new Club formed in 2014 in partnership with Cheshire Phoenix Community Interest Club. We currently play in the North West Area RGK League and also play a number of friendly games both home and away.
We have a new Women's Team called Angels who play in the British Wheelchair Basketball National League and have a number of current and retired paralympians in the team as well as GB Junior players.

Wheelchair Basketball can be played by people with and without disabilities aged 5 and upwards - Our club welcomes players of all abilities so come and have a go - we guarantee you will enjoy it! We have sports wheelchairs you can use - you just need to be fit enough to get yourself up and down the court.

We currently train at Ellesmere Port Sports Village on Saturdays 6-8pm and a new Junior session will be added soon. Plus new fitness and multi sport sessions.

Our club offers Archery sessions in Colwyn Bay Leisure Center. Archery is the most inclusive sport there is. Our club can cater for VI Archery and we can offer coaching to all our participants and carers of our archers. Archery is a family sport and we welcome families. Our club has signed up to the mental health charter and is one of very few clubs in North Wales to do so and the only archery club.
We cater for all kinds of archers from the serious competitor to recreational archers. We offer experienced coaching and a friendly atmosphere so come and shoot some arrows with us.

Founded in 2013 by Paralympian Adam Knott, Winchester Goalball Club is now one of the largest Goalball clubs in the country with players from 8 years old through to 50+ years old as well as a fantastic group of volunteers and parents.

We train on selected Saturdays, times dependent on age and ability, and players get the fantastic experience of travelling with the team around the country to national competitions.
